THE TEXAS COWBOY HALL OF FAME WAS STARTED TO PAY HOMAGE TO THE OUTSTANDING HORSEMEN AND WOMEN IN TEXAS, WHO HAVE EXCELLED IN AND OUT OF THE ARENA. THE TEXAS COWBOY HALL OF FAME HONORS 151 TEXAS MEN AND WOMEN WHO HAVE EXCELLED IN THE SPORT OF RODEO AND CUTTING, PERFORMING, RANCHING AND RODEO SPORTS MEDICINE. THE TEXAS COWBOY HALL OF FAME PROVIDES VISITORS A GLIMPSE INTO THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENTS THROUGH THE HALL OF FAME MUSEUM. THE EXHIBITS IN THE MUSEUM HONOR TEXAS COWBOYS AND COWGIRLS WHO HAVE EXCELLED IN THEIR RODEO CAREERS. DISPLAY BOOTHS INCLUDE SADDLES, CHAPS, BELT BUCKLES, TROPHIES, AND PHOTOS THAT HIGHLIGHT THEIR CAREERS ALONG WITH OTHER MEMORABILIA. THE MUSEUM IS CURRENTLY UNDERGOING A MASSIVE RENOVATION. WHEN THE RENOVATION IS COMPLETED IT WILL ALSO HOUSE THE STERQUELL WAGON COLLECTION, AN INTERACTIVE EXHIBIT HONORING JOHN JUSTIN JR. AND JUSTIN BOOTS, AND THE 1933 CADILLAC BELONGING TO AMON G. CARTER. ATTENDANCE AT THE MUSEUM FOR THE YEAR ENDED DECEMBER 31,2022 WAS 5,563.
