THE CENTER FOR THE STUDY OF NEW TESTAMENT MANUSCRIPTS' (CSNTM) CORE PROGRAM IS THE DIGITIZATION OF GREEK NEW TESTAMENT MANUSCRIPTS. IN 2021, CSNTM UPGRADED ITS EQUIPMENT, TRAINING, AND PROCESSES, WHICH IT THEN UTILIZED IN A TRAINING EXPEDITION TO HOUSTON, TEXAS. CSNTM ALSO CONDUCTED ADVANCE TRIPS (A NECESSARY STEP PRIOR TO A FULL EXPEDITION) TO INSTITUTIONS IN WASHINGTON, DC AND THE UNITED KINGDOM. (THESE EXPEDITIONS WERE THEN COMPLETED IN 2022.)


CSNTM FULFILLED ITS ACADEMIC AND EDUCATIONAL MISSION IN THREE AREAS. (1) IN 2021, CSNTM STAFF SUBMITTED PAPERS FOR PRESENTATION AT TWO ACADEMIC CONFERENCES AND HOSTED AN EDUCATIONAL EVENT FOR NON-SCHOLARS. (2) IN 2021, THREE STUDENTS COMPLETED THEIR ACADEMIC INTERNSHIPS, INCLUDING THE OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND TWO ACADEMIC CONFERENCES. (3) IN 2021, CSNTM ESTABLISHED A TEXTUAL CRITICISM RESEARCH LIBRARY AND BEGAN COLLECTING LITERARY RESOURCES.


CSNTM PROVIDES FREE ACCESS TO IMAGES OF GREEK NEW TESTAMENT MANUSCRIPTS WITH THE PERMISSION OF THE INSTITUTE THAT OWNS THE PHYSICAL DOCUMENT. IN 2021, ALL NEWLY DIGITIZED MANUSCRIPTS WERE MADE AVAILABLE ON CSNTM'S WEBSITE AS WELL AS OTHERS MADE PUBLICLY AVAILABLE BY THE OWNERS. BY THE END OF 2021, MORE THAN 2,000 IMAGE SETS OF MANUSCRIPTS WERE MADE AVAILABLE ON THE CSNTM WEB SITE.
