Part 3 - Line 4a
TRAINING AND EDUCATION - PSA COLLABORATES WITH COMMUNITIES IN IMPOVERISHED REGIONS ACROSS THE GLOBE, EMPOWERING THEM TO BREAK THE CYCLE OF POVERTY AND REALIZE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL. THROUGH MENTORSHIP AND VIGILANT MONITORING, WE IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES FOR SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS IN AREAS LIKE CLEAN WATER, SANITATION, FOOD SECURITY, CHILD DEVELOPMENT, AND EDUCATION. PSA'S INDIGENOUS PARTNERS FACILITATE VOCATIONAL TRAINING, LECTURES, AND SEMINARS, EQUIPPING UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES WITH PRACTICAL SKILLS. WE ENSURE THAT PRIMARY SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN HAVE THE NECESSARY UNIFORMS AND STUDY SUPPLIES TO ACCESS PUBLIC EDUCATION.
DEVELOPMENT - PSA WORKS HAND IN HAND WITH IMPOVERISHED COMMUNITIES TO DEVELOP TAILORED CLEAN WATER, WASTE MANAGEMENT AND SANITATION SOLUTIONS. TRAINING THROUGH PARTICIPATION OFFERS OPPORTUNITY FOR MANAGEMENT, AND SANITATION SOLUTIONS. THROUGH ACTIVE PARTICIPATION AND TRAINING, THESE COMMUNITIES ACQUIRE ESSENTIAL SKILLS, ENSURING THE SUSTAINABILITY OF THEIR EFFORTS. COMMUNITY CARE CENTERS, OFTEN SPONSORED BY LOCAL CHURCHES IN PARTNERSHIP WITH PSA, PROVIDE ADULT EDUCATION CLASSES, COMMUNITY MEETINGS, AND CHILDCARE/NUTRITION PROGRAMS FOR SCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN. OUR ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDES ONGOING SUPPORT FOR TRAFFICKED WOMEN, CHILDREN, AND ORPHANS, OFFERING THEM THE CHANCE TO REUNITE WITH THEIR FAMILIES OR GROW UP IN A SAFE AND NURTURING ENVIRONMENT. YOUNG ADULTS LEAVING ORPHANAGE PROGRAMS RECEIVE SUPPORT FOR VOCATIONAL TRAINING TO EQUIP THEM WITH SUSTAINABLE SKILLS FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING.
RELIEF - IN TIMES OF CRISIS, PSA'S LOCALLY BASED SURVEY TEAMS SWIFTLY ASSESS DISTRESSED AREAS, DETERMINING THE IMMEDIATE INTERVENTION NEEDS. WE WORK CLOSELY WITH AFFECTED POPULATIONS TO FORMULATE PLANS TO TRANSITION FROM DEPENDENCY TO RECOVERY AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. PSA IS DEDICATED TO ASSISTING REFUGEES, INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS (IDPS), AND LOCAL GROUPS BY CREATING SOLUTIONS FOR CLEAN WATER, WASTE MANAGEMENT, SCHOOL FACILITIES, MICROECONOMICS, AND AGRICULTURE IN FLOOD AND DISASTER-STRICKEN REGIONS. IN COLLABORATION WITH LOCAL VOLUNTEERS, WE EQUIP COMMUNITIES RECEIVING IDPS AND REFUGEES, ENHANCING SCHOOLS AND OUTREACH FACILITIES WITH APPROPRIATE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES. IN CRISIS-STRICKEN AREAS, PSA PROVIDES ESSENTIAL SURVIVAL COMMODITIES SUCH AS RICE, BLANKETS, HYGIENE PACKS, AND PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT FOR COVID-19, ENSURING THAT URGENT NEEDS ARE MET.
