GRATIA PLENA IS ORGANIZED TO PROVIDE PREVENTION, DIAGNOSTIC, AND TREATMENT INTERVENTION SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILES IMPACTED BY MENTAL INLLNESS AND/OR ADDICTIONS. GRATIA PLENA WORKS TO ACHIEVE THIS MISSION THROUGH DONOR AND SERVICE DELIVERY FEES.

CLINICAL SERVICES SUMMARY: GRATIA PLENA PROVIDES MENTAL AND SPIRITUAL HEALTH SERVICES FOR MENTAL ILLNESSES, ADDICTIONS, AND MARRIAGE/FAMILY PROBLEMS AND THE SPIRITUAL DISTRESS THAT USUALLY ACCOMPANIES THEM IN A MANNER THAT IS FAITHFUL TO THE TEACHINGS, VALUES, AND TRADITIONS OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH. GRATIA PLENA IS DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR THE CATHOLIC COMMUNITY BUT WELCOMES ALL THOSE WHO SEEK OUR SERVICES. IN 2021, THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVED 1,624 NEW REQUESTS FOR SERVICES, AN INCREASE OF 404 COMPARED TO 2020. PROVIDED 8,840 TOTAL SERVICES, AND INCREASE OF 1,132 COMPARED TO 2020. PROVIDED SERVICES AT 6 DIFFERENT LOCATIONS IN THE GREATER HOUSTON AREA. IN 2021, GRATIA PLENA CONDUCTED PRESENTATIONS AND RETREATS TO ADDRESS VARIOUS TOPICS TO BRING BOTH MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS AND SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE, REDUCING THE STIGMA COMMONLY TIES TO MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES.
