TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED AND CERTIFIED PSYCHIATRIC SERVICE DOGS, HANDLER TRAINING, SUPPORT AND THERAPEUTIC GROUP CAMARADERIE TO VETERAN MEN AND WOMEN STRUGGLING WITH POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER AND TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY AS A RESULT OF THEIR SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY AND RESTORE THEIR PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL INDEPENDENCE. HONOR FALLEN LOVED ONES BY NAMING SERVICE DOGS AFTER THOSE SACRIFICED DEFENDING OUR COUNTRY. A HEALING MISSION TO ACQUIRE AND TRAIN DOGS, SERVE SOLDIERS AND HONOR HEROS.

TRAINING AND PLACING CERTIFIED PATRIOT ROVERS WITH SERVICE CONNECTED DISABLED COMBAT VETERANS. EACH DOG GOES THROUGH 14 MONTHS OF TRAINING. EACH ASSIGNED VETERAN RECEIVES 100 HOURS OF TRAINING ALONG SIDE THEIR DOG PRIOR TO PLACEMENT. EACH OF THESE DOGS WILL ACHEIVE THE FOLLOWING LEVELS OF TRAINING; AKC STAR PUPPY, AKC CANINE GOOD CITIZEN, CANINE GOOD CITIZEN ADVANCED, PUBLIC ACCESS TRAINING, AND SERVICE DOG TASK TRAINING TO MITIGATE A DISABILITY.
