THE ORGANIZATION WAS CREATED TO HONOR THE LIFE OF LT. SCOTT F MILLEY, ARMY RANGER FROM SUDBURY MA. THE ORGANIZATION SEEKS TO ACCOMPLISH THIS BY RAISING FUNDS THROUGH TRADITIONAL FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES AND THEN USING THESE FUNDS TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO INDIVIDUALS WITH NEED AND WITH A RECORD OF SERVICE AND LEADERSHIP. THE ORGANIZATION WILL HAVE A COMMITTEE OF ITS BOARD ALONG WITH OTHERS FROM THE COMMUNITY WHO WILL REVIEW ALL SUCH APPLICATIONS AND WILL MAKE A DETERMINATION AS TO AWARDS. ALL BOARD MEMBERS AND THOSE INVOLVED IN ANY DECISION MAKING PROCESS WILL BE SUBJECT TO OUR CONFLICT OF INTEREST POLICY. THE ORGANIZATION MAY ALSO FROM TIME TO TIME MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS TO OTHER RECOGNIZED 501 (C) (3) ORGANIZATIONS THAT SUPPORT THE IDEALS AND GOALS OF THIS ORGANIZATION. PRIMARILY THIS WOULD BE TO HONOR THE RANGERS OF THE UNITED STATES ARMY.
