OREGON ARTS WATCH IS A NON-PROFIT CORPORATION WHOSE EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE THE RESIDENTS OF OREGON WITH THE KNOWLEDGE AND INFORMATION THEY NEED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE REGION'S CULTURAL LIFE, WHICH WE BELIEVE IS IMPORTANT TO THE SUCCESS OF BOTH OUR DEMOCRATIC PROCESS (THROUGH DEVELOPING SHARED VALUES AND APPROACHES TO PROBLEM-SOLVING) AND TO THE ECONOMIC HEALTH OF THE STATE (WHICH IS HEAVILY DEPENDENT ON CREATIVE ECONOMY BUSINESSES).

OREGON ARTSWATCH PRODUCES ARTS JOURNALISM THAT IS FUNDAMENTALLY USEFUL TO THE PUBLIC INTEREST. WE PUBLISHED 744 STORIES AND ATTRACTED 270,780 USERS. WE RECEIVED MULTI-YEAR GRANTS THAT WILL CARRY OVER TO THE NEXT FISCAL YEAR/REPORTING PERIOD.
