WORLD-CLASS INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN AND ASSESSMENT (WIDA) - PROVIDES DISSEMINATED EDUCATION MATERIALS THAT HELP K-12 EDUCATORS SERVE STUDENTS WHO ARE NEW TO THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS.
LEADERSHIP EVALUATION TOOLS - CONSIST OF COMPREHENSIVE ASSESSMENT OF LEADERSHIP FOR LEARNING AND AIW INSTITUTE THAT PROVIDES LEADERSHIP EVALUATION TOOLS FOR K-12 SCHOOLS TO UNDERSTAND IF THEY ARE SERVING ALL STUDENTS OF ALL ABILITIES AND SOCIOECONOMIC STATUSES. THESE TOOLS HELP SCHOOLS DO THE TASKS RESEARCH HAS PROVEN ARE NEEDED TO HELP ALL STUDENTS THRIVE IN SCHOOLS.
EDUCATION - EACH YEAR WCEPS DETERMINES WHETHER EXCESS REVENUE CAN BE DISTRIBUTED TO THE UW AND UW FOUNDATION. IN FISCAL YEAR 2022 WCEPS GRANTED $342,000 TO UW FOUNDATION. WE DO THIS VIA THE UW MADISON AND UW FOUNDATION SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION PER BELOW: THE CORPORATION IS AUTHORIZED BY ITS ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION TO BE OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY "FOR THE BENEFIT OF, TO PERFORM THE CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES [OF], OR TO CARRY OUT THE CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES OF, THE UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-MADISON AND UW FOUNDATION, AND IN PARTICULAR, OF ITS SCHOOL OF EDUCATION."
