GLOBAL SMART GRID FEDERATION (GSGF) SUPPORTED THE RAPID IMPLEMENTATION OF SMART GRID TECHNOLOGIES BY SERVING AS A GLOBAL CENTER COMPETENCY ON SMART GRID TECHNOLOGIES AND POLICY ISSUES AND FOSTERING THE INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE OF IDEAS AND BEST PRACTICES ON ENERGY ISSUES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO RELIABILITY, ENERGY EFFICIENCY, ENERGY STORAGE, CYBERSECURITY, AND CLIMATE CHANGE. IN ADDITION, GSGF FACILITATED DIALOGUE AND COOPERATION BETWEEN THE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTORS IN COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD ON ISSUES RELATING TO THE DEPLOYMENT OF SMART GRID TECHNOLOGIES.
