CAHABA MEDICAL CARE IS A LOCAL COMMUNITY-BASED HEALTH ORGANIZATION THAT AIMS TO BE AN INCARNATION OF LOVE, PEACE, AND JUSTICE BY GUIDING OUR PATIENTS THROUGH THEIR JOURNEY TOWARDS PHYSICAL, MEDICAL, AND SOCIAL WELL BEING, AND TO BE A CENTER FOR TRANSFORMATIONAL MEDICAL EDUCATION AND PRIMARY CARE TRAINING IN A RURAL AND INTERNATIONAL CONTEXT, MODELING AND EXHORTING THE NEXT GENERATION OF MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL IN A CAREER OF EXCELLENCE, CONSCIENTIOUSNESS, AND COMPASSION.

CAHABA MEDICAL CARE FOUNDATION (CMCF) PROVIDES MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE AS A FEDERALLY QUALIFIED HEALTH CARE CENTER. CMCF HAD 157,116 MEDICAL AND 7,874 DENTAL ENCOUNTERS DURING THE YEAR. CMCF PROVIDES CARE TO PERSONS COVERED BY GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAMS. UNREIMBURSED CHARGES FOR SLIDING FEE DISCOUNTS AND CHARITY CARE WAS 7,876,390 FOR THE YEAR.


CMCF PROVIDES CARE TO PATIENTS WHILE PROVIDING AN EDUCATIONAL SETTING WHICH FURTHERS THE MEDICAL TRAINING EXPERIENCE OF RESIDENTS. CMCF HAD 36 RESIDENTS DURING THE YEAR.
