AQUIRING, PRESERVING AND PROCESSING COLLECTIONS OF ARCHIVAL AND LIBRARY MATERIALS DOCUMENTING THE EXPERIENCES AND CONTRIBUTIONS TO AMERICAN LIFE BY DANISH IMMIGRANTS AND THEIR DESCENDANTS.PROGRAM REVENUE OF $85,500 IS INTENDED TO COVER THE PROCESSING COSTS FOR A NEW LARGE COLLECTION OVER A NUMBER OF YEARS.
MAINTAINING THE BUILDING AT 1738 WASHINGTON STREET TO PROVIDE CLIMATE CONTROLLED STORAGE FOR OUR COLLECTION AND TO PROVIDE WORK SPACE FOR VISITORS, RESEARCHERS AND VOLUNTEERS.DIGITIZING AND WORKING WITH DATABASES TO MAKE THE ARCHIVAL MATERIAL AVAILABLE FOR RESEARCH BOTH REMOTELY AND IN-HOUSE.PROGRAM REVENUE OF $85,800 IS INTENDED TO COVER STORAGE COSTS FOR A NEW LARGE COLLECTION THROUGH THE YEAR 2050.
