THE CACTIS FOUNDATION CONTINUES TO LEAD AND COORDINATE THE MC3DV (MARICOPA COUNTY COLLABORATION ON CONCUSSION FROM DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) WITH THE MARICOPA COUNTY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE FAMILY VIOLENCE BUREAU, THE SOJOURNER CENTER, THE MESA AND TEMPE, ARIZONA POLICE DEPARTMENTS, THE UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA COLLEGE OF MEDICINE - PHOENIX (UACOM-P), AND THE BARROW NEUROLOGICAL INSTITUTE AT PHOENIX CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL (BNI@PCH). THE CACTIS FOUNDATION CONTINUES TO INVESTIGATE, ANALYZE, ADDRESS AND PUBLISH THE FREQUENCY AND IMPACT OF TBI IN THE UNDERREPRESENTED, DIVERSE COHORT OF INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE VICTIMS (WOMEN, CHILDREN, AND MEN), AND PARTICIPATE IN EDUCATIONAL AND BASELINE CONCUSSION TESTING OF YOUTH ATHLETIC ORGANIZATIONS FOCUSING ON CONCUSSIONS. CACTIS IS INITIATING THE ANALYSIS OF DATA WITH THE GOAL OF CREATING A CONCUSSION REGISTRY AND DEVELOPING A "BEST PRACTICES" CONCUSSION ASSESSMENT AND TREATMENT PROGRAM IN COLLABORATION WITH THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES. IN EARLY 2022, CACTIS WAS AWARDED THE FOLLOWING GRANT AGREEMENT:NO. GR-ARPA-CACTIS-010122-01 BETWEEN THE STATE OF ARIZONA, THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR AND THE THE CACTIS FOUNDATIONTO CONTINUE ITS WORK.COVID PERMITTING, CACTIS WILL HOST AND SPONSOR IT ANNUAL PROGRAM, CONCUSSIONS: 2022 - THE PUBLIC HEALTH EPIDEMIC: TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURIES IN VICTIMS OF INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE.
