THE ORGANIZATION'S SDN-FOCUSED ACTIVITIES INCLUDE COORDINATION IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF RELEVANT TECHNOLOGIES, STANDARDIZATION OF THE RESULTING INTERFACES, AND ADVOCACY OF THEIR USE. THESE PROJECTS HELP ENSURE THAT THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOFTWARE-DEFINED NETWORKING TECHNOLOGIES IS SYNERGISTIC AND LEADS TO WELL-DEFINED AND VENDOR-AGNOSTIC INDUSTRY STANDARDS FOR THE FUNDAMENTAL INTERFACES.
