THE MOVING FORWARD ADVISORY COUNCIL IS A DIVERSE COMMUNITY OF THRIVING AGRICULTURE BUSINESSES WHO ARE SHAPING LEGACIES FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS BY FOSTERING RELATIONSHIPS, SHARING EXPERIENCES, CHALLENGING ONE ANOTHER, CREATING BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, AND STRENGTHENING THE INDUSTRY WITH ITS ACTIONS.

PROMOTING NETWORKING AND INFORMATION SHARING WITHIN THE GROUP AND ACROSS MULTIPLE GENERATIONS.PROVIDING JOINT AND UNIQUE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES.MEMBERS APPLYING EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES BY JOINING TOGETHER TO LEVERAGE BUYING POWER AND RELATIONSHIPS WITH INPUTS, EQUIPMENT, TECHNOLOGY, AND FINANCE PROVIDERS.MEMBERS LEARNING AND APPLYING THE KNOWLEDGE ON HOW TO REDUCE COMMON OVERHEAD, PRODUCTION, AND RISK MANAGEMENT EXPENSES.DEVELOPING COMMON FORMATS FOR DISCUSSION OF FINANCIAL AND PRODUCTION INFORMATION.EDUCATION FROM EXPLORING BOTH ACTIVE AND PASSIVE REVENUE GENERATION AND "TALENT LEVERAGE" OPPORTUNITIES.PROVIDING AN ANNUAL LOCAL GRANTS PROGRAM AWARD THAT IMPACTS THE COMMUNITIES WHERE THE OPERATIONS ARE LOCATED. THE RECIPIENTS INCLUDE AGRICULTURE SCHOLARSHIPS AT LOCAL SCHOOLS, SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR LOW INCOME STUDENTS, 4-H CLUBS, FFA CHAPTERS, FOOD BANKS, SENIOR CENTERS, AND VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENTS. THE OPERATION WAS STARTED IN 2010 WITH 6 OPERATIONS AS PARTICIPANTS. CURRENTLY, THERE ARE 25 OPERATIONS AS PARTICIPANTS.
