TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND RESOURCES FOR WOMEN AND FAMILIES BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER PREGNANCY, TO EDUCATE WOMEN ON PRENATAL DEVELOPMENT AND CARING FOR BABIES AND TO OFFER REFERRAL TO THOSE SEEKING ADOPTION OR COUNSELING.

DURING 2021, FIRST CHOICE PREGNANCY SERVICES CONTINUED TO SERVE CLIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES IN THE SURROUNDING AREA WITH FREE PREGNANCY TESTING, STI TESTING, LIMITED OBSTETRICAL ULTRASOUNDS, OPTIONS COUNSELING, MENTORING AND PREGNANCY AND PARENTING EDUCATION. FCPS UTILIZED THE BRIGHTCOURSE CURRICULUM DURING THE PANDEMIC SO THAT CLIENTS DID NOT HAVE TO DO EDUCATIONAL LESSONS IN PERSON, INSTEAD UTILIZING AN ONLINE FORMAT. FCPS CONTINUED TO OFFER MATERIALS, SUPPLIES AND REFERRALS TO FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS FOR PAYING RENT AND UTILITIES. DADDY BOOT CAMP WAS PUT ON HOLD DURING THE PANDEMIC, BUT FATHERHOOD LESSONS FOR DADS TO BE OR NEW DADS ARE INCORPORATED INTO THE BRIGHTCOURSE CURRICULUM. EMERGENCY SUPPLIES OF DIAPERS, WIPES AND FORMULA WERE MADE AVAILABLE TO FAMILIES IN NEED.
