THE LANSING 5:01 PROGRAM ATTRACTS AND RETAINS EMERGING PROFESSIONALS TO THE LANSING COMMUNITY THROUGH UNIQUE PROGRAMS, EXPERIENTIAL EVENTS, AND PLACE-BASED MARKETING INITIATIVES. LANSING 5:01 WELCOMED MORE THAN 10,000 ATTENDEES CUMULATIVELY ACROSS 3 LARGE SCALE IN-PERSON FESTIVALS AND 11 IN-PERSON GRAND RIVER CONNECTION EVENTS IN FY 22-23. OUR ANNUAL DAM JAM MUSIC FESTIVAL TOOK PLACE IN JULY 2023 IN OLD TOWN LANSING AT THE FISH LADDER, AND WELCOMED THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE OVER MULTIPLE NIGHTS, INCLUDING 16 MICHIGAN-BASED PERFORMING ARTISTS AND BANDS. WE ALSO PARTNERED WITH THE CITY OF EAST LANSING TO CO-HOST THE EAST LANSING EXTRAVAGRANDZA, A STREET FESTIVAL DESIGNED TO INTRODUCE THOUSANDS OF MSU STUDENTS TO DOWNTOWN EAST LANSING THROUGH ACTIVITIES, LIVE MUSIC, AND MULTIPLE STAGES IN VALLEY COURT AND ALBERT ST. LANSING 5:01 CONTINUES TO POSITION OUR WEBSITE, LANSING501.COM, AS THE PREMIUM PLATFORM FOR EMPLOYERS, RECRUITERS, AND EMERGING TALENT THAT IS CONSIDERING THE OPPORTUNITIES FOR LIVING AND WORKING IN THE LANSING REGION. WE ALSO CONFIRMED A PARTNERSHIP WITH HUNDRED PLACE CONSULTANTS AND REDHEAD CREATIVE TO COLLABORATE ON A DIGITAL ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN DIRECTED AT PROSPECTIVE TALENT, LEVERAGING OUR WEBSITE AND DIGITAL CONTENT.
