HNBA/VIA ANNUAL CONVENTION (AC) - MAJOR ANNUAL EVENT CONSISTS PRIMARILY OF CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION SEMINARS ON A VARIETY OF TOPICS AND CURRENT AFFAIRS, AS WELL AS TRAINING PROGRAMS AND WORKSHOPS SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT AND ADVANCEMENT OF HISPANIC STUDENTS, LEGAL PROFESSIONALS AND COMMUNITY. ATTENDEES PARTICIPATE IN ACCREDITED PRESENTATIONS AND DISCUSSION FORUMS WITH LEADING PRACTITIONERS AND NATIONAL LEADERS, AND IN SOCIAL AND NETWORKING EVENTS ATTENDED BY DISTINGUISHED GUESTS, ELECTED OFFICIALS AND REPRESENTATIVES OF THE HISPANIC LEGAL AND BUSINESS COMMUNITY.

HNBA/VIA CORPORATE COUNSEL CONFERENCE (CCC) - ANNUAL EVENT CONSISTS PRIMARILY OF CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION SEMINARS AND NETWORKING TO PROVIDE CONNECTIONS BETWEEN IN-HOUSE COUNSEL AND OUTSIDE COUNSEL. IN ADDITION, AN ANNUAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION IS HELD WHICH IS JUDGED BY SITTING AND RETIRED JUDGES TO PROMOTE MASTERY OF ORAL AND WRITTEN SKILLS AND PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY FOR LAW STUDENTS FROM ACROSS THE NATION TO GATHER IN AN EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT. WINNERS OF THE COMPETITION RECEIVE SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS.
