THE MISSION OF THE WALTON THEATRE PRESERVATION ASSOCIATION IS TO RESTORE, REHABILITATE AND MAINTAIN THE INTERIOR OF THE WALTON THEATRE, AND WHERE IN POSSIBLE, RETURN IT TO ITS OPTIMUM APPEARANCE. THE MISION HAS ALSO EXPANDED TO PROVIDING A VENUE FOR THE ARTS FOR CENTRAL DELAWARE COUNTY, WHICH, BY THE VERY NATURE OF ITS TERRAIN AND GEOMORPHOLOGY, ISOLATES ITS RESIDENTS FROM ENJOYMENT OF OTHER VENUES ON THE EDGES OF THE COUNTY OR IN NEIGHBORING COUNTIES.

TO ENSURE THE RESTORATION AND ENHANCEMENT OF THE WALTON THEATRE BUILDING AND THEATRICAL EQUIPMENT AND ENCOURAGE AND ENABLE INCREASED USE AS A PERFORMANCE VENUE. VOLUNTEERS HELP RAISE FUNDS THROUGH GRANT WRITING, BENEFIT EVENTS, JEWELRY SALES AND DONATIONS.
