THE VIRGINIA FOUNDATION FOR LD STUDENTS WAS ESTABLISHED TO SERVE STUDENTS WITH FINANCIAL NEED WHOSE LIVES WOULD BE TRANSFORMED BY AN INDIVIDUALIZED EDUCATION. STUDENTS SUPPORTED BY THIS FOUNDATION COME FROM A WIDE RANGE OF SOCIOECONOMIC BACKGROUNDS; OVER 20% OF FAMILIES CURRENTLY RECEIVING TUITION ASSISTANCE LIVE AT OR BELOW THE FEDERAL POVERTY LEVEL. SUPPORTERS OF THIS EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION SECURE OUR ABILITY TO OFFER STUDENTS CRITICAL SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS, WHILE AT THE SAME TIME REALIZING SIGNIFICANT TAX SAVINGS FOR DONORS.
