COHAB IS A NONPROFIT HUB PROVIDING ENTREPRENEURS AT ALL LEVELS THE TRACTION TO ACHIEVE SUCCESS. WE BELIEVE THE PATHWAY TO A STRONGER COMMUNITY BEGINS WITH EMPOWERING OUR HOME GROWN TALENT AND KEEPING THEM ROOTED IN NORTH LOUISIANA.

COHAB'S BIZTRAX PROGRAM SUPPORTS NEW, SMALL, AND MAIN STREET BUSINESSES SO THEY CAN GROW, ADD EMPLOYEES, AND INCREASE THEIR REVENUE. IN 2021, WE PROVIDED BUSINESS OWNERS WITH COLLABORATIVE WORKSPACE, MENTORSHIP, AND CLASSES FOR BEST BUSINESS PRACTICES TO HELP THEM BE SUCCESSFUL AND GROW.IN 2021 COHAB PROVIDED:- 208 BUSINESSES WITH ONE-ON-ONE COUNSELING- AN ADDITIONAL 97 RECEIVED ELECTRONIC ASSISTANCE BY EMAIL


COHAB'S DEVTRAX PROGRAM SUPPORTS SMALL BUSINESSES AND ENTREPRENEURS THROUGH TRAINING IN BUSINESS PLAN WRITING, MARKETING, BASIC BOOKKEEPING, AND MORE. DEVTRAX ALSO SUPPORTS SECOND STAGE BUSINESSES ($600K-$50 MIL IN GROSS ANNUAL REVENUE AND 5100 EMPLOYEES) HEADQUARTERED IN LOUISIANA THROUGH OUR CEO ROUNDTABLE SERIES. THE SERIES OFFERS FACILITATOR-GUIDED PEER MENTORSHIP SPECIFICALLY TAILORED FOR LARGER, MORE ESTABLISHED BUSINESSES. IN 2021, OUR BUSINESS TRAINING CLASSES SAW 51 PEOPLE PARTICIPATE IN ONLINE COURSES AND WRITE BUSINESS PLANS, AS WELL AS CONDUCT LIVE SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS WITH LOCAL BUSINESS AND SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS.OUR CEO ROUNDTABLE PROGRAM SAW THE FOLLOWING RESULTS FROM PARTICIPANTS:- 31 FTE JOBS CREATED- PROJECTED REVENUE INCREASE OF $5,140,000- 64 FTE JOBS RETAINED


COOKHOUSE AT COHAB SUPPORTS CULINARY BUSINESSES IN SHREVEPORT BY OFFERING COMMERCIAL KITCHEN SPACE AND BUSINESS SUPPORT TO CATERERS, BAKERS, FOOD TRUCKS, AND OTHER FOOD BUSINESSES. OF CULINARY BUSINESSES SERVED IN 2021, TWO HAVE MOVED OUT INTO DEDICATED STORE FRONTS AND ARE STILL THRIVING, ONE WAS PICKED UP BY WALMART FOR THEIR RANCH DRESSING, AND THE REST WERE ABLE TO SUSTAIN AND EVEN THRIVE DURING THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC.


OUR OTHER PROGRAMS INCLUDE 1 MILLION CUPS (ENTREPRENEURS PRESENTING THEIR BUSINESSES TO A GROUP OF PEERS IN THE COMMUNITY) AND YOUTHTRAX (K-12 ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAMMING).
