("BSN") ENDEAVORS TO CREATE A SAFER COMMUNITY FOR PEOPLE AND PETS AND TO END THE NECESSITY OF EUTHANIZING UNWANTED ANIMALS AT THE BROWNSVILLE ANIMAL SHELTER BY REDUCING THE INTAKE OF UNWANTED ANIMALS. BY OFFERING LOW COST HIGH QUALITY SPAY AND NEUTER SERVICES, BSN IS WORKING TO REDUCE THE ENORMOUS POPULATION OF UNWANTED PETS IN OUR AREA. BSN ALSO AIMS TO EDUCATE AN IMPOVERISHED COMMUNITY ABOUT THE UNIQUE CHALLENGES OF RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP IN A SEMI-TROPICAL CLIMATE AND OFFER PREVENTATIVE CARE AT A REDUCED COST TO AN UNDERSERVED PUBLIC.
