8 JEWISH NON-PROFIT AGENCIES AND SYNAGOGUES WERE PRESENTED CHECKS THAT TOTALED $4,987. THE AMOUNT OF THE CONTRIBUTION TO EACH AGENCY WAS BASED ON THE DONATIONS RECEIVED BY AND THE HOURS VOLUNTEERED BY THEIR CONSTITUENTS. THOSE AGENCIES SERVE RELIGIOUS, SPIRITUAL, SOCIAL, MEDICAL AND RECREATIONAL NEEDS IN OUR COMMUNITY. THOSE NON-PROFITS INCLUDE THE JEWISH COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF SOUTHERN ARIZONA, HADASSAH SOUTHERN ARIZONA, TUCSON JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER, CHABAD OF TUCSON, CONGREGATION ANSHEI ISRAEL, JEWISH FEDERATION OF SOUTHERN ARIZONA - LGBT, JEWISH FEDERATION OF SOUTHERN ARIZONA - NORTHWEST AND THE BNAI BRITH COVENANT HOUSE.
