THROUGH VARIOUS EDUCATIONAL EVENTS, HISTORY IS BROUGHT TO LIFE AS PILGRIMS, NATIVE AMERICANS, SOLDIERS, PATRIOTS AND PIONEERS CLIMB OUT OF THE HISTORY BOOKS AND ON TO THE STREETS OF PLYMOUTH. EVERY ASPECT OF WHAT OUR VISITORS EXPERIENCE IS STEEPED IN THE RICH HISTORY OF OUR PAST. IN THE REENACTMENTS OF OUR HISTORICAL VILLAGE, THE FLOATS IN OUR ANNUAL THANKSGIVING PARADE, AND THE MUSIC IN OUR CONCERT SERIES, WE ARE TELLING THE STORY OF OUR GREAT NATION THAT STARTS WITH THE FIRST THANKSGIVING IN 1621. OUR HOMETOWN COLONIAL VILLAGE DEPICTS THE WAY OF LIFE OF THE PILGRIMS AND EARLY AMERICANS THROUGH EXHIBITS AND HANDS ON DEMONSTRATIONS TO TEACH NEW GENERATIONS OF THIS IMPORTANT PIECE OF AMERICA'S FOUNDATION.
