THE IFPDA FOUNDATION MAKES GRANTS PRINCIPALLY DIRECTED TOWARDS THE ORGANIZATION, SPONSORSHIP AND PROMOTION OF PUBLIC PROGRAMS AND PUBLIC PROJECTS ON THE SUBJECT OF THE ART OF PRINTMAKING AND THE PRESERVATION AND APPRECIATION AND COLLECTION OF FINE ART PRINTS. IT WORKS IN TANDEM WITH THE INTERNATIONAL FINE PRINT DEALERS ASSOCIATION, A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION OF THE LEADING ART DEALERS, GALLERIES, AND PUBLISHERS IN THE FIELD OF FINE PRINTS WHO ARE COMMITTED TO THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF QUALITY, ETHICS AND CONNOISSEURSHIP AND TO PROMOTING A GREATER APPRECIATION OF FINE PRINTS AMONG COLLECTORS AND THE PUBLIC. IN DOING SO IT PROVIDES A WIDER AND MORE EFFECTIVE DEGREE OF PUBLIC EDUCATION IN THE FIELD OF FINE ART PRINTS. ACCORDINGLY, THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES THE FUNDING FOR EXHIBITIONS , SCHOLARLY PUBLICATIONS AND CATALOGUES, LECTURES AND SYMPOSIA, AND CURATORIAL INTERNSHIPS IN MUSEUMS RELATING TO PRINTS AND PRINTMAKING FROM ITS ORIGINS TO ITS CONTEMPORARY PRACTICE.
