BURRELL HOUSING SPRINGFIELD (BHS), WHICH OPENED IN JULY 2011, OPERATES A 14-UNIT, ONE-BEDROOM, LOW-INCOME APARTMENT COMPLEX FOR DISABLED PERSONS OVER 18 YEARS OF AGE LOCATED IN SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI. IN ADDITION TO THE 14 ONE-BEDROOM UNITS, THE FACILITY INCLUDES A TWO-BEDROOM APARTMENT MANAGER UNIT. FINANCING FOR THE HOUSING UNITS IS PROVIDED PRIMARILY FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD).
