THE MAMONI VALLEY PRESERVE IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO PROMOTING BIOCULTURAL LEADERSHIP AND ENGAGING IN LARGE-SCALE LAND CONSERVATION AND HABITAT RESTORATION WITHIN THE 11,500HA UPPER MAMONI VALLEY WATERSHED AND BEYOND. THE MAMONI VALLEY PRESERVE SERVES AS AN UMBRELLA ORGANIZATION TO COORDINATE ALL EFFORTS THROUGHOUT THE VALLEY THAT PROMOTE THE ABOVE MISSION. WITHIN THIS NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION IS THE MAMONI VALLEY PRESERVE ASSOCIATION OPEN TO ALL LANDOWNERS AND STAKEHOLDERS IN THE MAMONI VALLEY WATERSHED WHO VOLUNTARILY PLEDGE TO SUPPORT THE MISSION AND WORK TOGETHER TO CREATE A THRIVING SOCIALLY AND ENVIRONMENTALLY POSITIVE COMMUNITY.

THE ORGANIZATION HAD BEEN INACTIVE FOR SEVERAL YEARS PRIOR TO 2016. IN 2016 IT BEGAN USING VOLUNTEER AND DONATED HELP TO RESTART ITS ACTIVITIES. IN 2016 THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED FISCAL SPONSORSHIP TO A U.S. 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION CONDUCTING RESEARCH IN PANAMA AND BEGAN SOLICITING DONATIONS. IN 2016 IT RECEIVED A SINGLE UNRESTRICTED DONATION. IN 2017 IT RECEIVED TWO DONATIONS SPECIFIED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PURCHASING CRITICAL PANAMANIAN RAINFOREST TO CONSERVE IN PERPETUITY. IN 2018 IT CONTINUED TO RECEIVE DONATIONS SPECIFIED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PURCHASING CRITICAL PANAMANIAN RAINFOREST TO CONSERVE IN PERPETUITY AND INITIATED A RANGER PROGRAM TO PATROL ITS PROPERTIES. IN 2019 IT CONTINUED TO RECEIVE DONATIONS SPECIFIED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PURCHASING CRITICAL PANAMANIAN RAINFOREST TO CONSERVE IN PERPETUITY AND CONTINUED ITS RANGER PROGRAM. IN 2020, IT CONTINUED TO RECEIVE DONATIONS SPECIFIED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PURCHASING CRITICAL PANAMANIAN RAINFOREST TO CONSERVE IN PERPETUITY AND CONTINUED ITS RANGER PROGRAM.
