THE PULITZER CENTER PROMOTES IN-DEPTH ENGAGEMENT WITH GLOBAL AFFAIRS THROUGH ITS SPONSORSHIP OF QUALITY INTERNATIONAL JOURNALISM ACROSS ALL MEDIA PLATFORMS AND AN INNOVATIVE PROGRAM OF OUTREACH AND EDUCATION.

THE PULITZER CENTER'S PROGRAM SERVICES IN 2021 WERE IN PRINT JOURNALISM, BROADCAST JOURNALISM, AND THE DISSEMINATION OF BOTH THROUGH A BROAD PROGRAM OF OUTREACH AND EDUCATION. THE CENTER COMMISSIONED 227 REPORTING PROJECTS BY MORE THAN 332 PROFESSIONAL JOURNALISTS. THE CENTER'S EDUCATION AND OUTREACH PROGRAMS CREATED MORE THAN 600 IN-PERSON AND ONLINE EVENTS. OUR 400 VIRTUAL CLASSROOM VISITS REACHED AN AUDIENCE IN EXCESS OF 20,000 STUDENTS. THE CENTER SUPPORTED JOURNALISM OPPORTUNITIES FOR 62 STUDENTS AT ITS NETWORK OF 35-PLUS CAMPUS CONSORTIUM MEMBER SCHOOLS.
