NORTH DAKOTA ASSISTIVE DELIVERS SERVICES, DEVICES, AND EDUCATION SO THAT INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES AND THOSE EXPERIENCING THE EFFECTS OF AGING RECEIVE THE ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY THEY NEED TO MORE FULLY PARTICIPATE IN WORK, SCHOOL, AND HOME ACTIVITIES. THE SERVICES INCLUDE INFORMATION DISSEMINATION, PUBLIC AWARENESS, TRAINING, EQUIPMENT LOAN LIBRARY, DEMONSTRATION CENTERS, DEVICE RE-USE OPPORTUNITIES, ASSESSMENTS AND CONSULTATIONS. NORTH DAKOTA ASSISTIVE PARTICIPATES IN VARIOUS TASKFORCES TO PROMOTE AND COORDINATE THE USE, AND ADMINISTRATION OF CONTRACTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUPPORTING AND MAINTAINING ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY SERVICES. OVER THE PAST YEAR NORTH DAKOTA ASSISTIVE AIDED OVER 1,300 INDIVIDUALS TO RECEIVE THE SERVICES AND TECHNOLOGY THEY NEED TO LIVE A MORE PRODUCTIVE LIFE.
