HACKER DOJO IS AN INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY THAT SUPPORTS EDUCATION AND WORKFORCE REINFORCEMENT. THE COMMUNITY ALLOWS GRASSROOT DEVELOPERS TO DEVELOP INNOVATION AND COLLABORATE WITH ONE ANOTHER. WE HOST AND SPONSOR A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT GROUPS FOCUSED ON STEM EDUCATION LIKE HIGH SCHOOL ROBOTICS TEAMS EVERY QUARTER AS WELL PROVIDE MEETUP SPACE FOR THOSE LOOKING TO LEARN NEW SKILLS. WE ALSO HAVE SPONSORED OTHER NON-PROFITS WORKSHOPS.

WE HELD 775 TOTAL EVENTS DURING THE YEAR IN WHICH ATTENDANCE RANGED FROM 20-100 PEOPLE WITH AN AVERAGE OF 40 PER EVENT.WE HOSTED OVER 100 INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS FROM JAPAN AND SOUTH KOREA.SUPPORTED 1 FIRST ROBOTICS TEAM.WE HOSTED TWO CONFERENCES THAT WERE FOCUSED ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND SECURITY.
WE WILL START IN 2020 THE TRANSITION TO TECH WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM, A PILOT PROJECT, DESIGNED FOR LOW-MID INCOME INDIVIDUALS WITH THE GOAL TO PROVIDE SUCH INDIVIDUALS THE OPPORTUNITY AND SUPPORT TO ADVANCE THEIR CAREER PATH AND SELF- EMPOWERMENT IN TECHNOLOGY. APPLICATIONS TO BE PART OF THE PROGRAM STARTED IN LATE 2019.
