FRIENDS OF KOINONIA PERU INC. WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR RECEIVING FUNDS OTHER SERVICES TO MISSIONARIES AND CHURCHES IN PERU. AVERAGES OF APPROXIMATELY 185 ADULTS AND 100 CHILDREN ATTEND WEEKLY MEETINGS AT THE DIFFERENT LOCATIONS. KOINONIA WAS ABLE TO EXPAND ITS MISSIONARY TEAM BY ADDING A MISSIONARY TO SERVE AND SPREAD THE GOSPEL TO THE PEOPLE WHO RESIDE ALONG THE NAPO RIVER. THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY 10,000 PEOPLE LIVING IN THIS REGION AND AT THE PRESENT TIME THERE ARE NO PROFESSING CHRISTIANS WITHIN THE REGION. WITH THE ADDITION OF THE NAPO REGION, KOINONIA IS REACHING THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES: ECUADOR,URUGUAY, ARGENTINA AND NICARAGUA. KOINONIA OFFERED 5 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL PROGRAMS THAT BENEFITED APPROXIMATELY 200 CHILDREN. THEY ALSO OFFERED 6 CONFERENCES THIS YEAR ATTENDED BY APPROXIMATELY 300 PEOPLE. DUE TO THE WORLDWIDE PANDEMIC OPERATIONS HAVE BEEN REDUCED TO ONLINE MESSAGES AND MEETINGS. THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUES TO REACH OUT TO THE CHURCHES AND AND MISSIONARIES TO ENCOURAGE THEM.
