THESE EVENTS INCLUDED: (A) HIDDEN LANDSCAPES FILM SERIES ADDRESSING THE CONTROVERSY THAT SURROUNDING THE CEREMONIAL STONE LANDSCAPES OF NORTH AMERICA--PRESENTED FEB-MARCH OF 2021(B) STIPEND TO DOUG HARRIS, CEREMONIAL STONE LANDSCAPES PRESERVATIONIST(C) DAY OF REMEMBRANCE OF THE MAY 19, 1676 GREAT FALLS MASSACRE(D) THE POCUMTUCK HOMELANDS FESTIVAL ON AUGUST 7 AND 8, 2021(E) THE CONNECTICUT HEADWATERS TO THE SOUND: A DAY OF STORIES AND SONG WITH THE NEHANTIC AND THE ABENAKI(F) FULL BEAVER MOON GATHERING WITH DAN SHEARS (NULHEGAN ABENAKI) PRESENTING ON ORIGINS AND TECHNIQUES OF EASTERN WOODLAND BEADWORK(G) SCHOOL OUTREACH VIRTUAL INDIGENOUS STORYTELLING PRESENTATION AT SCHOOLS IN ERVING, HATFIELD, HAWLEMONT, WITH TAKE HOME PACKET OF SEEDS, PLANTING MATERIALS, AND INSTRUCTIONAL BOOKLET FOR STUDENTS(H) RIVER STORIES FILM EDUCATIONAL FILM BEING DEVELOPED FOR DISTRIBUTION TO SCHOOLS IN 2022.(I) ROBIN WALL KIMMERER EVENT SCHEDULED FOR JUNE 23, 2022.PROGRAMS DEVELOPED BY ALL-VOLUNTEER BOARD MEMBERS. THE ARCHIVES/LIBRARY PROJECT CONTINUED PROTECTION OF DOCUMENTS AND ARTIFACTS. WE PROVIDE RESEARCH MATERIALS AND A RESEARCH CENTER FOR ONGOING INVESTIGATIONS AND WORK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH MEMBERS OF SEVERAL TRIBAL NATIONS.


CONTINUING THE WISSATINNEWAG GARDEN/LAND PRESERVATION PROJECT, WE MAINTAINED A 41-ACRE PROTECTED SITE KNOWN AS 'WISSATINNEWAG', THE REMAINS OF A VILLAGE.
