PROTECT OUR COMMUNITIES FOUNDATION USES IN-HOUSE STAFF AND TECHNICAL AND LEGAL CONSULTANTS TO PARTICIPATE IN CALIFORNIA PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION PROCEEDINGS AND BEFORE STATE AND CGOVERNMENT AGENCIES. THE FOUNDATION WORKS IN COALITION WITH NONPROFITS AND COMMUNITY GROUPS TO TO STOP DESTRUCTIVE AND UNNEEDED ENERGY PROJECTS; WE PROVIDE EXPERTISE IN ENERGY REGULATION AND ENCOURAGE IMPROVEMENTS IN THE LAW. PROTECT OUR COMMUNITIES FOUNDATION ALSO USES IN-HOUSE STAFF AND TECHNICAL CONSULTANTS TO ADVANCE PUBLIC POWER IN SAN DIEGO, AND TO DEVELOP STRATEGIC DISTRIBUTED RENEWABLE ENERGY PLANNING FOR SAN DIEGO.
