THE ORGANIZATION EDUCATES AND TRAINS ZAMBIAN PASTORS AND LEADING LAYPERSONS TO SERVE AS MENTAL HEALTH "GRIEF COUNSELORS" TO AIDS ORPHANS AND TO THOSE WHO CARE FOR THEM. THE MISSION OF HGCA IS TO EDUCATE THE PEOPLE OF ZAMBIA CONCERNING THE ORPHANS IN THEIR MIDST, TO HELP THEM UNDERSTAND THE SPECIAL PROBLEMS OF GRIEVING CHILDREN AND HOW BEST TO HELP THEM OVERCOME THEIR GRIEF.
