COMMUNITY: SKATE JOURNEYS PROVIDED COMMUNITY CLASSES YEAR-ROUND FOR 294 KIDS AND ADULTS TO LEARN TO SKATE ON ROLLER AND INLINE SKATES. ADVANCED CLASSES INCLUDED ARTISTIC, SLALOM, AND TRAIL CLASSES. A SIX-WEEKLONG APPRENTICE INSTRUCTOR TRAINING WAS PROVIDED FOR 22 STUDENTS. FEE WAIVERS TOTALING $1,340.00 WERE PROVIDED FOR LOW-INCOME STUDENTS. WE PROVIDED FREE SKATING INSTRUCTION AND GEAR SERVING 70 PARTICIPANTS FOR A SWEDISH HOSPITAL FUNDRAISER.
