CFLCA CONTINUES TO EDUCATE FARM LABOR CONTRACTORS AND OTHER EMPLOYERS THROUGH REQUIRED CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS, REGIONAL CONFERENCES, SPECIALTY SEMINARS, AND TRAINING PROGRAMS. WE SERVE AS A CLEARINGHOUSE OF INFORMATION AND RESOURCES TO THE FLC COMMUNITY. CFLCA ORGANIZES FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES TO SUPPORT COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE CHILDREN OF FARMWORKERS. WE ADVOCATE FOR FLCS ON LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY ISSUES. CFLCA WORKS TO KEEP OUR MEMBERS AND OTHERS IN THE INDUSTRY INFORMED ON THE KEY ISSUES IMPACTING THIS COMMUNITY. THE ASSOCIATION HAS ALSO STARTED TO COLLECT CONTRIBUTIONS AND REMIT THEM TO THE NEWLY FORMED CALIFORNIA FARM LABOR CONTRACTOR PAC.
