THE FOUNDATION CONTINUED ITS START UP PHASE AND CONTINUED TO MORE WIDELY EXPAND ITS LIST OF PROJECTS IN ITS WEB BASED DATA APPLICATION. THE WEB APPLICATION IS AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC AT WWW.BARCHANFOUNDATION.COM. PROJECTS ARE STILL BEING ADDED ON A VOLUNTARY BASIS. THE FOUNDATION'S CONTRACT WITH ITS SW DEVELOPER TO CONTINUE SW UPGRADES AND TO PROVIDE MONTHLY MAINTENANCE FOR THE APPLICATION THROUGH 2020, INCLUDING THE ADDITION OF A SUBSCRIPTION MODULE TO ALLOW PRIVATE SECTOR FIRMS AND PUBLIC SECTOR ENTITIES TO PARTICIPATE.
THE SW DEVELOPER MAINTAINED THE SOFTWARE WITH REGULAR SOFTWARE UPDATES AND MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING FIXES OF BUGS, ADDED FEATURES SUGGESTED BY RESEARCHERS WORKING PURSUANT TO A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH VIRGINIA TECH.
