TO PROVIDE AND PRODUCE EXCEPTIONAL PROGRAMS IN THEATRE, MUSIC, DANCE, DIGITAL ARTS, FILM, MEDIA, TRAINING AND PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCES FOR YOUTH AND ADULTS. TO ENSURE THAT PERFORMANCE BASED ARTS ARE ACCESSIBLE TO EVERYONE WHO DESIRES TO PARTICIPATE OR ATTEND PERFORMANCES BY KEEPING BOTH TICKETS PRICES LOW AND CLASS/WORKSHOP TUITIONS AFFORDABLE. TO PROMOTE PERFORMING ARTS AND EDUCATION, TO ENCOURAGE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION, AND TO BRING EXCEPTIONAL PERFORMING ART EXPERIENCES TO THE COMMUNITY AND TO MAINTAIN AND PRESERVE THE HISTORIC BAL THEATRE.

STATEMENT OF PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS 2023 BEGAN WITH A HOPE FOR GROWTH AND SUSTAINABILITY IN THE CHANGING WORLD OF ENTERTAINMENT AND ECONOMICS, WE HAVE CONTINUED OUR MAIN STAGE PROGRAMMING, BRINGING LEGENDARY ENTERTAINERS, BANDS, AND COMEDIANS TO THE HISTORIC BAL THEATRE STAGE AND COMMUNITY. WE CONTINUE TO SERVE OUR UNDERSERVED COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND HELPED TO PRODUCE AND HOST THE BURMA FILM FESTIVAL AND WE CONTINUE TO PRODUCE CULTURALLY RICH PROGRAMMING HOSTING AND PRODUCING LATIN AMERICAN AND FILIPINO INTERNATIONAL ACTS. WE CONTINUE TO GAIN SUPPORT FROM THE COMMUNITY AND GREATER BAY AREA WITH VOLUNTEERS AND PATRONS. WE CONTINUE TO FOSTER AND SUPPORT LOCAL PERFORMANCE ARTISTS TO PERFORM ON STAGE AND TO PRODUCE, RECORD, MIX AND MASTER THEIR ORIGINAL MUSIC AND CREATE AND PRODUCE VISUAL ARTS PERFORMANCES TO PROMOTE THEIR ART THROUGH AUDIO AND VISUAL EXPERIENCES IN PERSON AND DIGITALLY ONLINE. WE CONTINUE TO WORK CLOSELY WITH OUR LOCAL PARTNERS SUCH AS, THE SAN LORENZO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICTS, INTERN PROGRAM AND WITH "BADA" BAY AREA DIGITAL ARTS PROGRAM, AND OUR LOCAL GOVERNMENT PARTNERS SUCH AS THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO, THE COUNTY OF ALAMEDA AND THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
