MILK + BOOKIES CHAMPIONS LITERACY AND SERVICE LEARNING, BY PROVIDING THE TOOLS, RESOURCES, AND GUIDANCE REQUIRED TO ORGANIZE AND HOST "BOOK-RAISING" EVENTS. OUR MISSION IS TO INSPIRE CHILDREN TO HELP OTHERS BY CREATING EVENTS AT WHICH THEY CAN DONATE BOOKS THAT ARE THEN GIVEN TO CHILDREN WHO NEED THEM. THESE BOOK-RAISING EVENTS TAKE MANY FORMS INCLUDING MILK + BOOKIES BIRTHDAY PARTIES, CLASS PROJECTS, SCHOOL BOOK FAIRS, LEADERS + READERS SCHOOL BOOK DRIVES, AND CUSTOMIZED EVENTS FOR GROUPS SUCH AS THE GIRL SCOUTS.
