GFP HAS ADOPTED AN UNREACHED PEOPLE GROUP IN KOSOVO AND MONTENEGRO: BOSNIAKS. IN THE FALL OF 2013, OUR FIRST TRIP TO MONTENEGRO WAS TAKEN TO ESTABLISH A WORKING RELATIONSHIP. ADDITIONAL TRIPS WERE TAKEN IN 2016-2017 TO PURSUE OTHER MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES IN THE AREA. IN 2020, A TEAM OF MISSIONARIES COMMITTED TO A TWO-YEAR TERM TO SERVE IN THE AREA. IN JUNE 2021, THE TEAM PHYSICALLY MOVED TO MONTENEGRO TO ESTABLISH A CHRISTIAN MINISTRY YOUTH CENTER TO AID THE COMMUNITY'S YOUNG PEOPLE. HOWEVER, DUE TO SAFETY CONCERNS, MOST OF THE TEAM HAD TO ABANDON THE YOUTH CENTER PROJECT IN EARLY 2022 AND RELOCATE BACK TO THE UNITED STATES. ONE OF THE MISSIONARIES STAYED IN MONTENEGRO AND CONTINUED MINISTERING.
