2022 CHERN MEDAL. THE CHERN MEDAL IS A LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD MADE AT THE QUADRENNIAL INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF MATHEMATICIANS. IT CONSISTS OF AN AWARD OF A $250,000 PRIZE TO AN INDIVIDUAL MATHEMATICIAN AND AN ORGANIZATIONAL AWARD OF $250,000 FOR THE BENEFIT OF ORGANIZATIONS WHICH SUPPORT RESEARCH AND ADVANCED EDUCATION OF UNDERSERVED GROUPS OF MATHEMATICIANS WORLDWIDE.
IMU BREAKOUT GRADUATE FELLOWSHIPS. THE IMU FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM SUPPORTS POSTGRADUATE STUDIES, IN A DEVELOPING COUNTRY, LEADING TO A PHD DEGREE IN THE MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES.
