THE CORRAL RIDING ACADEMY, INC. IS AN AFTER-SCHOOL AND SATURDAY PROGRAM FOR AT-RISK TEENAGE GIRLS IN WAKE COUNTY. CORRAL PAIRS THESE TEENS WITH RESCUED HORSES TO PROMOTE HEALING, TRANFORMATIONAL GROWTH, AND LASTING LIFE CHANGE.

PROGRAM SERVICE: THE RIDING ACADEMY THE RIDING ACADEMY IS CORRAL'S PRIMARY PROGRAM ACTIVITY- AN AFTER SCHOOL AND SATURDAY PROGRAM FOR TEENAGE GIRLS IN WAKE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA, USA.


PROGRAM SERVICE: EQUINE ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY (EAP)THE EQUINE ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY PROGRAM IS CORRAL'S SECONDARY PROGRAM FOR SERVING TEENAGE GIRLS WITH MENTAL HEALTH NEEDS. IF THE TRADITIONAL RIDING ACADEMY PROGRAM IS NOT ENOUGH TO SERVE THE STUDENT'S NEEDS, SUPPLEMENTAL MENTAL HEALTH ASSISTANCE IS AVAILIABLE THROUGH CORRAL'S EAP PROGRAM AND IS ADMINISTERED BY LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS.


PROGRAM SERVICE: HORSE RESCUE PROGRAM CORRAL USES RESCUED HORSES TO SERVE THE NEEDS OF THE TEENAGE GIRLS THAT PARTCIPATE IN THE RIDING ACADEMY AND/OR EAP. THE COSTS RELATED TO THIS PROGRAM SERVICE ARE RELATED TO KEEPING THE HORSES WELL FED AND WELL CARED FOR.
