ANNIKA INVITATIONAL SERIES OFFERS A UNIQUE TOURNAMENT AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM FOR THE TOP JUNIOR FEMALE GOLFERS. THE EVENTS ARE HELD IN THE UNITED STATES, SWEDEN, CHINA AND ARGENTINA. THE PURPOSE OF THE TOURNAMENTS IS NOT ONLY TO PROVIDE JUNIOR PLAYERS WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO COMPETE AGAINST WORLD CLASS COMPETITION BUT ALSO TO EDUCATE THEM ABOUT THE OFF-COURSE ELEMENTS OF PLAYING COLLEGIATE AND PROFESSIONAL GOLF, SUCH AS MEDIA TRAINING AND THE IMPORTANCE OF HEALTH AND NUTRITION.

SHARE MY PASSION DAY - THIS UNIQUE EVENT, HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH LPGA*USGA GIRLS GOLF, ASKS GIRLS (AGE 6-12) TO WRITE AN OPEN LETTER TO OTHER GIRLS THEIR AGE TELLING THEM WHY THEY LOVE THE GAME OF GOLF. OF THE LETTERS SUBMITTED, 30 FINALISTS WERE CHOSEN BY ANNIKA AND THE COMMITTEE TO ATTEND THE INSPIRATIONAL CLINIC. THE DAY BEGAN WITH EACH OF THE FOUR GROUPS ROTATING THROUGH STATIONS COVERING THE FUNDAMENTALS DRIVING, PUTTING AND THE IMPORTANCE OF FITNESS. FOLLOWING THE MORNING STATIONS, THE GIRLS WERE TREATED TO A HEALTHY LUNCH WHILE HAVING SOME FUN WITH THEIR NEW FRIENDS AT A PHOTO BOOTH. FOLLOWING LUNCH, ANNIKA PUT ON A CLINIC FOR THE GIRLS AND THEIR GUESTS WHICH COVERED EVERYTHING FROM PRE-ROUND WARMUPS TO SHOT EXECUTION. DURING THE CLINIC, ANNIKA FIELDED MANY QUESTIONS FROM THE GIRLS AND WAS ABLE TO SHARE HER PASSION AND INSIGHTS WITH THE NEXT GENERATION.

OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES INCLUDES (1) ANNIKA CUP - CREATED IN 2007, THE ANNIKA CUP IS AN ANNUAL MATCH PLAY COMPETITION FOR 12 OF THE TOP FEMALE AMATEUR GIRLS IN SWEDEN. THE TOURNAMENT INTEGRATES TRAINING WITH A COMPETITION ELEMENT. IT INTRODUCES DRILLS AND TECHNIQUES ANNIKA USES. THE GIRLS ARE ALSO SPLIT INTO TWO TEAMS OF SIX TO COMPETE AGAINST EACH OTHER IN SINGLES MATCH PLAY. ON THE LAST DAY OF THE EVENT, ANNIKA CONDUCTS A CLINIC FOR THE GIRLS, HOSTS A Q&A SESSION AND THEN SITS DOWN WITH THEM FOR LUNGH; (2) GENREAL EXPENSE ALLOCATION OF PAYROLL TO PROGRAM SERVICES; (3) DONATIONS AND GRANTS TO VARIOUS JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAMS THAT FIT WITHIN THE ANNIKA FOUNDATION MISSION.
