RESEARCH CENTER - HAVING THE PAL GIFT SHOP OPEN AT LEAST SEVERAL DAYS A WEEK HAS HELPED IMPROVE AWARENESS AND UTILIZATION OF THE RESEARCH CENTER (LIBRARY AND ARCHIVE). IN 2022, THE FOUNDATION ACQUIRED LIBRARY AND ARCHIVAL SUPPLIES NECESSARY TO PROCESS AND STORE DONATED BOOKS.


YOUTH - THE FOUNDATION HOSTED A HIGH SCHOOL INTERN FROM SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO FROM IN THE SUMMER OF 2022. THE FOUNDATION SUBSEQUENTLY ESTABLISHED A TRAVEL GRANT PROGRAM THAT HELPED DEFRAY THE COST OF A SCHOOL TRIP TO OAXACA, MEXICO FOR FIVE STUDENTS.


PAL GIFT SHOP - THE GIFT SHOP SOLD FOLK ART MADE BY INDIGENOUS ARTISTS, BOTH PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THOSE ARTISTS AND IMPROVING AWARENESS OF FOLK ART IN THE SANTA FE COMMUNITY. DAY OF THE DEAD PROPS AND OFRENDA ELEMENTS WERE LOANED TO A LIBRARY FOR A MOVIE ABOUT MULTI-CULTURAL FRIENDSHIPS.


EXHIBITION - THE OAXACA FILM WAS COMPLETED DURING THE FIRST HALF OF 2021. IT IS AVAILABLE ON THE FOUNDATION'S WEBSITE. WORK WAS ALSO COMPLETED ON A NEW WEBSITE THAT INCLUDED AN ONLINE SHOP.
