THE INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON EARLY ONSET SCOLIOSIS AND GROWING SPINE (ICEOS) WAS HELD ONLINE AND ATTRACTED SURGEONS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD. THE CME-ACCREDITED COURSE INCLUDES A MIX OF INVITED LECTURES, FREE PAPERS, DEBATES, CASE DISCUSSIONS, AND NON-CME SURGICAL TECHNIQUE FORUMS UNDER THE DIRECTION OF INTERNATIONAL FACULTY LEADERS IN THE GROWING SPINE FIELD. THE COURSE IS DESIGNED FOR ORTHOPAEDIC AND NEUROLOGICAL SURGEONS, FELLOWS AND RESIDENTS WHO INCLUDE PEDIATRIC SPINAL DEFORMITY SURGERY IN THEIR PRACTICIES. NURSES, NURSE PRACTITIONERS, PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS, AND PHYSICIANS PROVIDING NON-OPERATIVE CARE OF SPINAL DEFORMITIES MAY ALSO BENEFIT.


THE PEDIATRIC SPINE STUDY GROUP (PSSG) - THE MISSION OF THE PSSG IS TO IMPROVE THE CARE OF PATIENTS WITH EARLY ONSET SCOLIOSIS AND RELATED DEFORMITITES THROUGH RESEARCH, EDUCATION, AND ADVOCACY. ALL PSSG MEMBERS HAVE BEEN TRAINED IN ORTHOPAEDIC SPINE SURGERY AND/OR PEDIATRIC ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY AND SPECIALIZE IN COMPLEX SPINAL DEFORMITIES IN YOUNG CHILDREN. THE GSSG CONDUCTS RESEARCH STUDIES AND PRESENTS THE WORK AT VARIOUS MEETINGS AND IS PUBLISHED IN MULTIPLE MEDICAL JOURNALS.
