Describe the Organization's Mission:

Part 3 - Line 1

SINCE IT'S ESTABLISHMENT THE PATAKI CENTER HAS HOSTED MEMORIAL CEREMONIES EACH YEAR TO HONOR THOSE WHO HAVE DEDICATED THEIR LIFE TO REBUILDING NEW YORK STATE AFTER 9 11. AS NEW YORKERS WE WOKE UP ON SEPTEMBER 11 2001 NEVER CONCEPTUALIZING THAT THE FUTURE OF OUR COUNTRY WOULD BE FOREVER CHANGED. NEVERTHELESS NEW YORKERS PREVAILED AND WE CAME TOGETHER AS A COUNTRY TO RECOVER AND REBUILD IN THE AFTERMATH. THIS SENTIMENT OF HOPE PROVIDED EVERY ONE OF US WITH PRIDE IN OUR NATION. I AM PROUD THAT THE PATAKI CENTER CARRIED THE SAME SENTIMENT OF HOPE AND RECOVERY TO UKRAINE AS WE DO OUR PART TO HELP SUPPORT INTERNALLY DISPLACED UKRAINIAN REFUGEES AND AROUND THE WORLD
