THE ALLIANCE FOR AFFORDABLE INTERNET (A4AI), A MULTI-STAKEHOLDER COALITION, IS ADVOCATING FOR AND SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF POLICY REFORMS THAT WILL MAKE FAST, RELIABLE INTERNET AFFORDABLE AND ACCESSIBLE TO ALL.


CORE: THE CORE PROGRAM SEEKS TO EDUCATE AND RAISE AWARENESS OF THE VALUE OF THE WORLD WIDE WEB TO HUMAN, SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, AND ADDRESS BARRIERS TO ACCESS AND EFFECTIVE USE OF THE WEB BY INDIVIDUALS IRRESPECTIVE OF ECONOMIC STATUS, GENDER AND OTHER FACTORS.


WOMEN'S RIGHTS ONLINE: THE WOMEN'S RIGHTS ONLINE NETWORK IS WORKING TO DEVELOP AND IMPACT THE POLICIES NEEDED TO BRIDGE THE GENDER GAP IN TECHNOLOGY, DATA, AND POLICYMAKING.


DIGITAL RIGHTS AND DEFENCE OF THE WEB: THIS PROGRAM FOCUSES ON MAKING GOVERNMENT MORE PARTICIPATORY AND ACCOUNTABLE BY INNOVATIVE USE OF DATA, AND ON ADVOCATING TO INFLUENCE GOVERNMENTS AND FIRMS TO PROTECT PEOPLE'S DIGITAL RIGHTS ON AND ONTO THE OPEN WEB.
