THE WILMINGTON HOPE COMMISSION, INC'S MISSION IS TO DEVELOP, PROMOTE, EVALUATE AND ADVOCATE FOR MEAININGFUL STRATERGIES AND PROGRAMS THAT FOCUS ON THE REVITALIZATION OF WILMINGTON'S UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES AND MOTIVATE RESIDENTS AND COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS TO BE ACTIVELY ENGAGED IN THE CREATION OF SAFER, MORE VIBRANT, SUSTAINABLE NEIGHBORHOODS.

THE ORGANIZATION HAS PROVIDED TRAINING TO OVER 300 RESIDENTS IN OUTREACH INIATIVES, SUCH AS PROVIDING EMPLOYMENT AND HEALTH RELATED REFERRALS FOR UNDERSERVED POPULATION.
