WE EXPECT TO ENTERTAIN, ENCOURAGE CRITICAL THOUGHT, AND INSPIRE THROUGH THE PRESENTATION OF THEATRICAL EXPRESSIONS OF NEW WORKS, REINVENTED CLASSICS, AND IMAGINATIVE ADAPTATIONS FOR THE STAGE.

IN DECEMBER 2022, PARALLEL 45 THEATRE PRODUCED A CHRISTMAS CAROL IN PROSE FOLLOWED BY AN EARLY 2023, PRODUCTION OF 4 WINTER-SPRING PLAY READINGS INVOLVING OVER 30 LOCAL ARTISTS. THE REMAINDER OF THE TIME PERIOD WAS SPENT CONNECTING WITH SUPPORTERS, STAKEHOLDERS, ARTISTS, AND OTHER COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS IN AN ATTEMPT TO RAISE FUNDS, REBUILD STAFF AND, ULTIMATELY, REINVIGORATE THE FESTIVAL. THE ORGANIZATION'S EDUCATION EFFORTS CONINUED AS WELL WITH BOTH SUMMER & FALL CLASSES BEING OFFERED FOR ASPIRING ARTISTS.
