OUR MISSION IS TO BRING GREATER HEALTH, WATER SAFETY AND COMMUNITY TO THE PEOPLE OF SAN JUAN COUNTY BY BUILDING THE COUNTY'S ONLY COMMUNITY AND FULLY ACCESSIBLE POOL. IT WILL SERVE ALL AGES WITH EXERCISE, AQUA-THERAPY, LEARN-TO-SWIM AND WATER SAFETY CLASSES, EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES TRAINING, FAMILY (AND ISLAND VISITOR) RECREATION, AND STUDENT PROGRAMS AND SWIM TEAMS.

FLIP'S VISION IS TO HAVE A SAFE, SECURE PLACE FOR OUR CHILDREN TO LEARN TO SWIM; FOR ALL AGES TO HAVE AN ACCESSIBLE POOL FOR RECREATION, EXERCISE, AND WATER THERAPY; AND FOR SAN JUAN COUNTY TO HAVE A SAFER, HEALTHIER, AND MORE CONNECTED COMMUNITY WITH AN IMPROVED QUALITY OF LIFE. THE LOPEZ ISLAND SWIM CENTER WILL PROVIDE WATER THERAPY, REHABILITATION, SWIM LESSONS, EMT WATER RESCUE TRAINING, LIFEGUARD TRAINING AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES. SAN JUAN COUNTY RESIDENTS OF ALL ABILITIES AND AGES, FROM INFANTS TO SENIORS, WILL BENEFIT FROM THE SWIM CENTER'S YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMMING.
