THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS ORGANIZATION IS TO RESEARCH, DOCUMENT, EDUCATE AND PRESERVE THE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE POLISH POPULATION IN THE UNITED STATES. THE FOUNDATION WILL ESTABLISH A REPOSITORY WHERE THIS HISTORY CAN BE VIEWED BY THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND WILL SUPPLY EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION RELATING TO THE POLISH INFLUENCE AND CULTURE IN THE GROWTH OF AMERICA.

Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

SINCE 2015, THE FOUNDATION HAS CONTINUED TO UPDATE THEIR "WHO'S WHO" DATABASE WHICH IS CALLED THE "PINKOWSKI FILES". THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS HAVE SEEN THE FOUNDATION CONDUCT EXTENSIVE WORK IN CONVERTING PAPER FILES FROM ITS COLLECTION INTO A DIGITAL FORMAT. THIS PROVIDES THOUSANDS OF ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS TO BE AVAILABLE ONLINE AND SEARCHABLE IN THE ONLINE DATABASE. IN ADDITION, SEVERAL THOUSAND BOOKS AND BOUND PRINT MATERIALS WERE CATALOGED FOR LIBRARY USE. THE FOUNDATION, THROUGH THEIR STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS,HAS TRANSLATED NUMEROUS MATERIALS FROM POLISH TO ENGLISH. THE FOUNDATION HAS CONTINUED ITS ONGOING PROJECT WHICH DOCUMENTS THE ACHIEVEMENT OF VARIOUS POLISH AMERICANS WHO ARE NOW COMMEMORATED BY HISTORICAL SIGNS ON PENNSYLVANIA STREETS AND HIGHWAYS.
